The Big One (Part 1)

We set off in the pouring rain, thankfully this wasn't to be the weather for the entire weekend.
Stats for the weekend:-

Gary - only smiling because the hail storm had just finished. I think we were all glad we had helmets!

Greg and Ann-Marie climbing out of Langstrothdale, this was the hardest part of the route.

A welcome sight - the top of Fleet Moss before the very fast descent down into Hawes - about 1000 feet in two miles.

Ian and Phil have had their first argument but on the plus side the weather forecast is looking better. Well, if you count sleet being now forecast as far as 10miles away rather than on us... lets hope it right for once.

Setting off at 8am to "call for" the rest of the team en route. Will keep you updated with progress via twitter. Wish us luck! Claire
